Beschreibung
Rich garnet purple, very close in the middle;
Awesome bouquet, right at the beginning. Starts with red cherries, ripe plums, cassis and very fine cinnamon traces, the delicate woody notes are reminiscent of cedars. Then he turns to sweetness, shows coconut nuances and medium-dark malt, as well as a hint of caramel. In the second approach, a wonderful array of varied herbs comes to light. A fascinating, very complex bouquet that can also be transformed with air access. In any case, the nose image is recognizable documentary as a typical and large Cabernet Franc!
The palate is also full-bodied, shows a lot of charm and the wine rolls in a velor-like texture over the tongue, the tannins are fully ripe and exude an intoxicating sweetness, the finale is bundled and echoes extremely long spicy and dark berries. A royal Austria-Cabernet-Franc with long life and simultaneous early charm.
Quote René Gabriel: “World-class in international comparison – a class of its own in Austria!” (19/20 Gabriel)
